The Yellowjackets Fund

yellow jackets

The Yellowjackets Fund is a new program for Milton families with school age children who have been thrown into crisis by the coronavirus pandemic. This new fund is being launched by the Milton Family Community Center (MFCC) to help Milton families get through this unprecedented threat to their well-being. MFCC is ready to receive donations for the substantial needs of Milton families. The increase in food assistance at Vermont’s foodbanks and in applications for 3Squares tell the blunt truth about what families are facing as do the tens of thousands seeking unemployment. The Yellowjackets Fund will be a direct source of support for families to address food insecurity, health care, and any basic needs creating a bridge from this crisis to the far side when we can all get back on our feet. A clear-eyed look at the crisis now indicates this crossing will last for some time making the need for sustained support apparent and essential.

Make a Donation Now

Our capacity to see the suffering of others as our own is what will bring us through the coronavirus pandemic with our communities intact and perhaps even strengthened by that simple act of giving whatever we can. Just as we saw Governor’s send ventilators to states with the greatest need, we need to share our resources to the best of our ability with the families we know need it most right now.
