MFCC offers a high quality childcare program serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in three classrooms: infants, toddlers and preschool. Our play-based curriculum centers the natural curiosity of each child and encourages development of social skills, literacy and communication, creative expression, physical development and health. We maintain developmentally appropriate multi-age groupings, low teacher to child ratios and a regular routine that allows for some flexibility based on the child’s needs.
Our routines include: circle time, small and large group activities, gross motor play, sensory play, snack and lunch time, nap time, and special projects. Our program is a Vermont pre-qualified preschool program, and Act 166 funding is available for eligible families. We are an Early Head Start partner, and have further individualized support available to families with children in our infant and toddler classrooms.
MFCC’s full time childcare programs participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The program serves breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals served meet USDA nutritional requirements and are served family style. Menus will be provided monthly. Details and food program philosophy available upon enrollment.
