Molly D

Early Childcare Program Director

Hello! I’m the new Early Childcare Program Director at Milton Family Community Center. I’ve been in education for the past seven years but have worked with children throughout most of my life. I believe that by empowering children’s inherent curiosity with the right resources to follow their inquisitive nature, helping to both guide them and allow them to make their own decisions, the outcome will be a well-rounded, innovative, self-reliant individual. In my free time I enjoy gardening, cooking, sailing, and seeing live music. I’m proud to join the MFCC team and help support families in our community!

Gabby Fenton

Community Center
Program Coordinator

Hello, I have been at MFCC since 2019! I have an associate in Business Technology and Management from Vermont Technical College. I am currently working on my Bachelors through Southern New Hampshire University. In my free time, I love to sew, cross stitch, make ceramics, basically anything to keep my hands busy, and travel with my mom (Paula)

Zac Farnham-Haskell

Community Outreach Coordinator

I’m excited to join the MFCC team and help strengthen the community through food access, farmers markets, and events.

I have a background in education and recreation, mostly recently I was the director of recreation for the town of Charlotte.

I live in Williston with my wife, daughter, dog, and cat. In my limited free time I enjoy reading, exercising, and cooking.

Daniel Brooks

Family Support Programs Coordinator

Hi!
I’m the new Family Support Programs Coordinator here at Milton Family Community Center. For the last six years of my professional career I’ve worked along the intersections of mental health, behavior, and housing advocacy. From working with adolescent youth in a transition house teaching life skills to managing properties to promote a better future for families in need, I’m a firm believer in affordable housing for all as well as providing a voice for those who can’t fully advocate for themselves. Community is the literal foundation in building relationships and bringing people together. I plan to help further what MFCC has already accomplished for so many years and to bring on more prosperity for individuals and families near and far.

I live in Shelburne with my wife and our two little ones. When I’m not working at the center we love going to farmers markets, trying out different foods, and exploring every inch of Vermont from farm to hill top. I’m also a freelance photographer and thoroughly enjoy being able to do creative projects with my friends along with shooting weddings, portraits, couples, families, and everything in between.

Owen Senesac

Milton Afterschool Kids (MASK) Program Coordinator

I work with Milton elementary and middle school students to implement fun and enriching programming at our afterschool program (MASK)! I help develop program curriculum, run our day-to-day operations, and most often find myself facilitating gross motor activities, which usually involves lots of tag!

I’m a Vermont and Fairfax native who is now living in Burlington! When I’m off the clock I enjoy hanging out with my friends, thrifting, working out, and reading when I can find the time.

Hi! My name is Carrie and I’m excited to be joining the team in the infant room. I have worked with young children for nearly thirty years in various roles. I live in Swanton with my husband and three daughters, Madison, Avery, and Hadley. In my free time I love the beach, gardening, and watching my kids play sports!

Carolyn Giroux

Early Childcare Educator

Greetings to all!
I am very happy to be a new co-teacher in the preschool at Milton Family Community Center. Since birth, my home has been in Saint Albans where I grew up with my three sisters.
I have enjoyed experience with children of all ages from preK through junior high school. My focus is to create an environment for young children that matches their individual interests, needs, and abilities.
In my spare time, I am sewing a large, queen-size flowered quilt on a frame in my living room. As a life-long Vermonter, I like being outdoors in all four seasons, working around my yard and taking walks around town whatever the weather!

Nichola Watson

Early Childcare Educator

Hello, My name is Nichola or Nikki and I am so excited to be joining the MFCC team in the preschool. I have over 10 years of experience working in early education centers. I primarily worked with infant/toddler groups until recently and I am absolutely loving working with the preschool age group. I am excited to learn and grow alongside all my new preschool friends.
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my own children. We are busy with sports, dance and spending time with our extended family! I also enjoy reading, live music and going on walks.

Stacy Rider

Early Childcare Educator

I have dedicated most of my adult life to working in the childcare field and have developed a deep passion for supporting children’s growth, learning, and well-being. I have completed coursework through Community College of Vermont (CCV) and have gained extensive experience working in licensed childcare centers as well as operating my own registered daycare program. These experiences have strengthened my ability to create safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can thrive.
Originally from Randolph, Vermont, I recently relocated to Highgate Center with my significant other and his family. Together, we are raising six children ranging in age from 3 to 11 years old. Being both a childcare professional and a parent has given me valuable insight into the importance of patience, communication, flexibility, and building strong relationships with families.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and making the most of Vermont’s natural beauty. In my free time, you can often find me reading, kayaking, hiking, taking long walks, visiting the ocean, and exploring new experiences with my family.
