Christmas Gifts Assistance is here!
Could you or someone you know use a little help getting gifts for the kids in your household this year? Milton Family Community Center is here to help! Through the generosity of local families, businesses and churches, we are doing an Adopt-A-Family program right here in Milton this year!
Simply complete the form below and email it to gfenton@miltonfamilycenter.org or return it to the center by December 6th. All names and family information will be kept strictly confidential. We will send your wishlist(s) to some helpful neighbors who will bring gifts to the United Church of Milton. You may collect your items on December 18th at the United Church (51 Main St. in Milton).
If you’d like to Adopt-A-Family, please call the center at 802-893-1457! Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

Parent Cafe–October 13th!
Our monthly program for parents of young children continues Wednesday October 13th at 5:30pm. Join us as we play with pumpkins, share dinner and connect with other families on our playground!
MFCC provides dinner and childcare so parents can enjoy the evening and spend some time getting to know one another.
When the weather gets colder, we’ll need to move this gathering online, so please join us for the last in-person gathering before the chill sets in. To RSVP, contact Mary Murray at mmurray@miltonfamilycenter.org or 802-893-1457 ext 109.

Back to School (Supplies) Drive
For every child in our community who would otherwise go without, MFCC wants to fill a new backpack with new school supplies. It is our goal to make sure every child in our community starts this school year with what they need for a great new year of learning. The challenge now is to gather enough school supplies to put into each backpack that we will give to a child in need.
Donated school supplies can be dropped of to MFCC between 8 AM-4PM Monday-Friday. The last day to donate is August 16th.
Need assistance with school supplies for your school-age child(ren)? Fill out this application, and drop it off at the Community Center, or email a copy to mfcc@miltonfamilycenter.org.

Come join our team as we broaden the scope of our programming, increase the number of families we reach, and develop a strategic plan to ensure the stability and sustainability of the center for years to come. Summer Survey
We are loving the warm, sunny weather that June has provided, and hope you’re enjoying the season as well. We are excited to see Vermonters reemerging from the pandemic and getting reengaged with our community. We’d love to use this time to get a feel for how we are doing, and see if you have any ideas on how we do better. Please take a few minutes to complete this Summer Survey for MFCC Families. We appreciate your feedback and input!
Meet MFCC’s New Executive Director!
Meet MFCC’s new Executive Director, Sophia Donforth! She has worked as a middle school teacher, musician, office manager, and community organizer. In recent years she has devoted her time to leading Burlington’s Janet S. Munt Family Room into a new chapter as an independent agency. She knows firsthand the importance of supporting families with young children, and is passionate about supporting the important work that happens in parent child centers. She likes to spend time gardening, hiking, singing, and contradancing with her husband and two young daughters. Please join us in giving Sophia a warm welcome to the Milton community!
