Holiday Assistance

We use an adopt-a-child approach to our Holiday Assistance Drive. Meaning that families who are in need give us their child(ren)’s wish list and we give the wish list out to those who would like to “adopt”-a-child.

Registration and waitlist has closed.

This is a donor sponsor program, we cannot guarantee what your family’s “adopters” will buy. Your unwrapped presents (for registered families) will be available to be picked up on Saturday, December 17, 2022 between 10am-3pm, at the United Church of Milton (51 Main St., Milton, Vt, 05468). Your identifying information (like your name) is confidential and will not be given to “adopters”.

All 223 children from 89 families have been “adopted”!

The monetary amount and the number of gifts per child is all up to the “adopter” of that child. The unwrapped presents can be dropped off at the United Church of Milton at 51 Main St. Milton, Vermont from 9am to 12pm on one of the following days: 

  • Tuesday, December 6 – Friday, December 9
  • Tuesday, December 13 
  • Wednesday, December 14.

Unregistered or unsure if you registered? Please call MFCC at (802) 893-1457 to see id we have any extra bags or to see if you are rqgistered.

MFCC School Supply Drive / Assistance

Looking to help local students in need off to a good start for this coming school year?

The MFCC School Drive has started! You can bring items to MFCC July 18- August 12, between 8am-3:30pm.

Requested Items:

  • Backpacks
  • Pens and Pencils
  • Notebook/ Looseleaf paper
  • Binder of Various Sizes
  • Glue Sticks
  • Crayons
  • Markers/Highlighters
  • Scissors
  • Pencil boxes/pouches
  • Tissues

Is your child(ren) in need of school supplies for this coming school year?

The MFCC School Drive has started! The last day to register is Friday, August, 12, 2022. There are two ways that you can fill out an application. YARD SALE JUNE 17th and 18th

Looking for something to do on Friday, June 17th and/or Saturday, June 18th from 8am-3pm. Come to our yard sale! Items available include: toys, metal folding chairs, upholstered office chairs, small tables, kitchen items, garden tools, plastic bins, flooring materials, tools, roofing supplies and more! On the MFCC front lawn (23 Villemaire Lane, Milton, VT, 05468).
